One of those days....
Do you ever have those days that nothing seems to work out right from the time you open your eyes?
So what comes to mind as soon as you awake?
Could it be that your first thought was the cause of the bad day?
It sure is. I always wake up happy and have a sign hanging on the wall at the end of my bed that simply says RELAX. It was a Christmas gift and I thought that the perfect place for it. It is the first thing I see when I open my eyes, right next to my vision board, so I start the day off right.
As I go through my day (which I spend with people who get up "on the wrong side of the bed") I hear the words coming from others and have to shake my head. It's so easy to see how they are making the day go from bad to worse and personally I don't get what they are so excited about.
My life is great because I choose for it to be and I am very grateful for that! How about you?

Clearing blocks
As you know, there is more to creating wealth with the Law of Attraction than just simply "wanting" to. Do you find yourself going around in circles, not sure which way to go and nothing seems to work out for you?
That could be due to your schemas. What is a schema you ask? Schema's are patterns of behaviour that have developed over the course of your lifetime, which originally protected you in some way. As we grow from child to adult, these schemas come with us in most cases, even though they are no longer necessary. Chances are you have some of these schemas blocking you from getting whatever it is that you want.
The Law of Attraction works much faster when you are mindful of these schemas and work to clear them so that you leave the old patterns behind. I first came across schemas during the research for my upcoming book and the book I found them in is fascinating if you want to improve your life. It is titled "Emotional Alchemy - How the Mind Can Heal the Heart" and for your convenience I have added it to my list of recommended reading on the sidebar. It's probably at the end of a long list of wonderful books, so take a moment to see if there are any others of interest while you're there.

The Secret and The Science of Getting Rich
By now you must have heard of the movie called "the Secret" since it's not such a secret anymore. The DVD was released in March 2006 and sold 500,000 units within the first 6 months and today still sells well over 5,000 copies a day! So who would be interested in a movie like this? I know that I was anxious to see it and when I did it literally changed my life. It wasn't that I was unaware of the Law of Attraction, the philosophy behind the movie. I just didn't know that it had a name and exactly how to use it to my benefit. I did recognize that I was attracting everything in my life, so I made the decision to only attract good.
Now I'm the type of person that has to know exactly how something works, so I started researching the philosophy, which of course brought me to the "teachers" featured in the movie who delivered the message. They include prosperity preachers, chiropractic healers, relationship gurus, life coaches and motivational speakers and I couldn't help thinking these were the people that I wanted to learn from. After all, they were working with this philosophy long before anyone ever heard of "The Secret", which of course is how they came to be in the movie. This movie is a "must watch" for anyone interested in taking charge of their life and in creating the life of their dreams.
The movie itself was inspired by the law of attraction when the producer read a book called "the Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles, written in 1910! Following on the success of The Secret, some of the core teachers - namely Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield, have collaborated to produce a wealth building program called "the Secret Science of Getting Rich Seminar".
This program is based on the book that inspired the movie and is set to make history as the fastest selling personal development program in history. What is the program all about? In the words of Wallace D. Wattles, "The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Please allow me to introduce myself!
Hello Friend & welcome to my blog!
I'm so glad to see you here and I hope I will be able to provide you with some fabulous information. I'm the kind of person that has to test things before I pass them on to my friends, so here I will be sharing a variety of things with you. I love doing research and writing, so this seemed like the perfect venue to reach many with what I have to share.
I am however, new to blogging, so please be patient while I get it together and if you can offer any tips I would very much appreciate the help. For now let me tell you a little about myself.
I am the mother of 3 adult children that I raised on my own and I must admit I did a great job. They are fabulous people and both of my daughters (Thanks to God) have blessed me with 4 beautiful grandchildren between them. The prospect of these wonderful beings depending on me for guidance was daunting to say the least, but now that I know the secret to creating the life of my dreams, we are on our way!
I'd love to personally invite you to share the ride with us!
In future postings I will be sharing with you just how the Law of Attraction works for me and how it works for you too. The only choice you have to make is whether you are attracting the things that you want, or the things that you don't. After seeing the movie The Secret I began to research the teachers featured in it. I wondered, "who are these people and what do they do?" I'm finding out and will be sharing everything that I'm learning, some of it here and some in upcoming books! I look forward to making many friends here, so please feel free to contact me.
